I started working within the Gas industry in October 2000 and did my gas apprenticeship with British Gas at their centre of excellence in Leeds. I was very lucky to have what is widely considered as the best training in the business. After my apprenticeship I became Gas safe registered (or Corgi registered as it was known back then) and started working on the district covering the South Wales valleys.
